Bulk carrier TN SUNRISE (flag – Marshall Is [MH]) was attacked by pirates South China sea of Pulau Merapas.
Five pirates armed with knives boarded a ship underway. They threatened the Master, stole his personal items and money from the ship’s safe and escaped. SSAS activated. Incident reported to local authority.
