The cement carrier Fjordvik (Flag- Bahamas [BS]) went aground on a breakwater at the entrance to a harbor at Keflavik, Iceland.
The hull was broken, oil leak reported. Bad weather, preliminary, is believed to be the cause of an accident. The track shows, that the ship just missed the entrance. Reported but not confirmed, the crew and pilot were evacuated by helicopters.
