Ro-ro ship QEZBAN (flag – Turkey [TR]) reported fire in engine room while transiting Dardanelles. It happened on 8 January. The tugs and firefighting teams were sent to the vessel, fire was extinguished. QEZBAN was brought to anchor. It is known, the vessel was en route from Lavrio Greece to Yalova Turkey.
