Ro-ro ship EUROCARGO NAPOLI (flag – Italy) suffered mechanical problem shortly after leaving Olbia, Sardinia, bound for Cagliari. It happend in the morning on 4 December.
The crew reported to authorities and asked for anchorage off Golfo Aranci, north of Olbia. The permission was granted, the crew managed to repair engine. Coast Guard ordered EUROCARGO NAPOLI to move to Golfo Aranci and sent a tug.
