The offshore ship was attacked by pirates in Nigerian waters

Offshore supply tug SAAVEDRA TIDE (flag – Vanuatu [VU]) was attacked by pirates. It happened in the Egina Oil Field, Bight of Bonny, Nigeria on 4 December. It isn’t known what realy happened, but it is believed, that pirates managed to board the ship. Later it was said, that the crew and the ship were safe and returned to unnamed port. The vessel docked at Brass Oil Terminal in the morning on 5 Dececember.
