The Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi marine trade port can stop its work on transferring of cargo in one or two years. It was declared by the minister of infrastructure of Ukraine Vladimir Omelyan.
“Unfortunately, the port of Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi is on the verge. It is impossible to say that it “due to” private lessees or because of a natural situation. But I think that bogging happened quicker there, than mistakes in economic activity were made”, – declared the minister in European business association.
Let’s note that statistical data confirm opinion of the minister as for the first half of 2016 the port of Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi transshipped only 318 thousand tons of cargo.
The port has nine equipped moorings and is open for navigation all the year round. However, despite a good geographical location and due technical supply, the administration of the entity can’t attract cargo flows.
