Ferry TRANS JAWA 9 ran aground on approaches to Gilimanuk port, Indonesia, arriving from Banyuwangi Port, Java, with 35 passengers and a number of vehicles on board.
It happened on August 17. Attempts to refloat ferry failed, it was decided to evacuate passengers. By midnight all passengers were evacuated.
