The vessel disabled shortly after transiting Dardanelles

General cargo ship NAZ 1 (flag – Panama [PA]) suffered engine failure, veered off course and started to drift on Dardanelles approaches in Marmara sea, after Straits transit, being en route from Piraeus Greece to Burgas Bulgaria. It happenesd on March 7. All vessels in the area were alerted. Crew managed to cope with problem without assistance, in about an hour engine was restarted, NAZ 1 continued her voyage.
